I was trying to put this into perspective below for someone. Historically this is the trade range. And with these levels we can go into a stagnant market when carry out reaches a level where production isn't a worry. Where market moves are pennies one way or another for an extended time. But as shown after 88 the carry out can be chewed through quickly. Is a 2 billioncarfyout roght now really that burdensome? No I don't think so at this time but it can grow quickly but can also shrink quickly.
What I don't know is the amount of acres taken out of production after 85 farm bill into set aside. Which would effect the drop in carry out during a disaster also.
So in all honesty we are either at the start of a bear market or in one growing season could be in a fast bull market.
