Subject: RE: Witching for ground water

Frytown, Iowa
I drilled water wells for 5 years and never once did our company witch a location. Course there's always water under Iowa.

They did have a set of witching sticks in the old office. Bosses laughed when you ask if they use them before drilling,
But one day me and a co worker were goofing around with them in the shop and won't you know they crossed. So we started looking around if there was anything under the concrete like a water line... Sure nuff there was a floor drain that ran right under. Was pretty neat. It's all scientific why it works but you only need it if there are narrow veins of water. It can't pull water out of nothing...

Oh funny story. Bosses showed up to a site for drilling a well a while back... Old guy was set. he wanted a well RIGHT HERE because he witched it and showed water was there

They set their T starter pipe and set all up... Started drilling and broke through into an old septic tank.., hoooooooo boy thay give that guy the time of their lives!!! Hey we got your well right here!!! Lol the way they told it was much funnier
