Subject: RE: Witching for ground water

West Texas

Go for it. The skeptics can pound sand. I won't drill without witching first. I won't speak for others, but so far, every site that has indicated the presence of water has indeed flowed water when drilled. A neighbor drilled a couple of sites that I had previously witched and indicated dry. Guess what? No water.

There is nothing mystical about it. Even skeptics can witch successfully. You do not have to "believe" to make it work. My theory is, the rods merely make visible the magnetic fields associated with underground water. Some people seem to be more conductive to the fields than others.

As a side note, pipeline companies sometimes employ people to witch out old pipelines. It is fascinating to watch them at work, especially if you know roughly where the old pipelines are buried.
