Subject: RE: Witching for ground water

New London, Wisconsin
I've seen it done and was skeptical to say the least, but they were both spot on. Then I tried it but had mixed results. I can accept that some can and some can't.

The first guy, I rented land from who claimed he could for $25. I thought he was full of BS but hired him anyway just because the relationship was worth more than $25. I just wanted a simple shallow low gallon well for my shop. He told me where to put a well and it was right by my grain dryer, and not at all where I wanted it. I suggested another spot thinking there was water everywhere and it wouldn't matter. He said no, don't do that, there is no water there. I did it anyway. I was wrong. Dry hole.

The second guy was my tile contractor who would find his lines to add on and be within about 2 feet. He thought everyone could do it.
