Been able to locate water for wells, dad and brother not able to for some reason. Always had the driller witch with me, we would hit the vane at the same place, also could determine the distance down to the water. Have located a half dozen wells, water lines and tile. Can't explain it but it does work. I bend the wire 90 degrees to make a handhold.
