I agree...I think not planting cover crops because you're afraid you "might" plug your tile is about like cutting off your nose to spite your face. If rye will plug tile..so will wheat. So will sugar beets. So will alfalfa. So will corn. So will clover. It goes on and on. If the roots are growing in to your tile...maybe having them plug it and show you where your trouble spots in your tile are is a good thing. At least you'll get a chance to fix them.
