Such screwed up priorities by so many parents/guardians/etc. Their kids' basic needs often don't seem to make the list.
Less than a month ago there were fireworks sales tents all over the place here. I find it very difficult to believe that all of their patrons provide for their kids as they should, such as providing adequate food for their kids every day of the year that they paid for 100% themselves. Here the local school enrollment has 2/3 of the kids on free/reduced lunch/breakfast, plus there is the weekend back pack food programs, and the free summer breakfast/lunch programs. Oddly enough, I never read or heard one single comment about the cost of fireworks.
