ECIN. | Apparently producers who signed up for the class action lawsuit have opened themselves up to be called in as a witness to provide testimony, according to Tom Pfitzenmeier on "Market-to-Market" last Friday (he's one of the few on that program I feel consistently provides good advice to the audience). He suggested that Syngenta's defense strategy will be to request plaintiff producers to provide a detailed assessment of what portion of their losses were caused by Syngenta (and by extension, what portion is simply their fault for not selling in the face of a falling market).
