Sw. Ill | Thinking hard about trying federal seed corn. Looks like the 12% rebate ends tomorow which puts it at $140 a bag for RR. On top of that I can get a rk credit card and get an additional 7% off first purchase with 0% apr. Our ground averages about 170. Ive looked through the old posts on here about the corn but havent seen any actual plot data or even yield results. Can anyone report how it did last year? I just dont see spending the extra money for agrigold paying off it would have to yield 10 bushel better to offset the cost of seed and thats for non gmo 6499 so it would need additional chems too. Another local brand is steyer and its priced well @170 for RR but I know nothing about them plot data looks decent. Could also do non gmo federal but they only have one variety and the package isnt real impressive. Thoughts? Thanks. Dave | |
