a strong interest. Your post sounds like he might. If he does, is there enough room for both he and his older brother in the operation? If there is can he and his older brother work together as equals? If your younger son has a burning desire and your older one doesn't (and to me, it sounds like he doesn't), I'd try to hold on a few more years until he's ready to come back. I do agree with you on requiring your kids to be out in the working world a while before they come back. In my experience, those that get into farming that way are often times happier throughout their farming career.
