I get exactly what you are saying. And I have zero proof my idea will pay off. I do have a spot on one farm testing 500# or 250 ppm K and 100+# P. It is behind a hog and cattle barn. No large former operation. Old McDonald style farmstead. That spot will spike the yield monitor to levels that would make Francis Childs proud. Grandpa, at 80 years young this summer, still rides with me and asks "why we can't get the entire farm to do that?"
Dad tells me that spot has been the best of any ground my family has farmed as long as he can remember.

That is my reasoning...

What equipment or products are you using that I am not? I'm a very open minded person if I can see results in person...
