Rainbow, you can explain it all you want.  However, you asked a question, and here on AgTalk, you get honest responses - and not always what you want to hear.  I believe that of these replies, even with your explanation, they would still say the same thing - Don't throw away things that don't belong to you.

And Frankly, I agree.  If it is your Dad's stuff, don't throw it away without him being physically there giving his blessing.  When he is dead and gone,  you can throw away to your hearts content.  Until then....... respect him enough to give him final say on what gets tossed and what stays.  The day will come soon enough when you get final say - don't hasten it along.    :)
