Subject: Iowa Pollination

Central Iowa
I have noticed that our corn has skips in the ear, which makes me think the heat during pollination maybe dinged our yield a bit. Seeing the tip kernals not pollinated to the end as well. Anyone else seeing this around Iowa? Corn plants look amazing and stand 11-12' tall. Lots of ears are 16 round. Still looks like a great crop, but maybe not an overall farm record breaking yield. I would bet that some hybrids and fields set records, but some fields will slightly disappoint.
What are you other guys seeing?
