 Yes, I know the heat index was like 112 on one or two of those days.  But only for a few hours, and it wasn't 83 degrees at night and not giving the plants a chance to recover.



The heat index was bad, the actual temperature wasn't really that bad.

Does "heat index" affect plants like it does people/animals?     I'd think no but I guess I don't know for sure.
