Dairy farmers don't want subsidies, they want to be paid the actual cost of producing milk today, not the price of milk 20 years ago. Feed costs have increased, land price has doubled in the past 15 years, etc. Cows have been more productive, but still, that's no reason to pay farmers less than milk costs, it's organized theft and slavery.
