| Thanks again, I got lazy and let the acer reinstall run instead of wiping the whole drive, reformatting and reinstalling. Acer always puts a bunch of junk on with the OS so I uninstalled most of that. It was irritating that it ran better but not lots better. Based on their use I expected lots of malware and even virus's and maybe that wasn't the issue. 2010 was a while ago and forever ago in the tech world.
I'll have to look into what TRIM. Doesn't windows 7 automatically recognize an SDD? | |
