South West UK | It can be done, but be prepared to have to update the bios which is not a trouble free process.
Fitting an SSD in most laptops (simply clone the drive with disc cloning software, this has to be done OUTSIDE of windows) will generally change them beyond all recognition in terms of speed and ease of use.
Just be aware than if a SSD dies, there is no chance of recovering any data whatsoever, so back everything up constantly. | |
