It has been done before, and failed. Same topic each time calf price get high. Got to be all kinds of research on lot feeding 365. Some one else will have to discuss any further, lack knowledge in this dept.  Other than watched a very good operator go broke doing it, maybe 10 yrs ago. Drylot summer/Stalks winter cost eat his lunch.  Calf income was half today's or less also.
