NW IL | No doubt torn is right on this. Not worth the extra money. The case 1250 and 1255 planter just works good to start with. Usually if a row unit has a problem it shows up on the population chart. You might make an extra round or two before you decide it is not as even as the rest over the 20 20 or whatever system, but you will know you have a problem before any economic damage above and beyond the cost of the added monitoring systems is reached. Probably a different ballgame for the geen planters since they are not as easy to get the spacing consistency right from the factory.
