I am with the guy who said tips should not be tied to the price. I can eat at the local restaurant for $5. They always have excellent service and decent food. The waitress only gets $1 if I tip 20%. She gives better service and works harder at it than in the big city. I try and tip at least $5 there. Other than that 20-30%.
