Rivers, MB | That's a tough one. Some restaurants have a policy where tips are shared with staff in the kitchen. So not an easy answer. Just based on the service alone as you describe, I would have not tipped or very little.
However, the name that she called you would have meant an immediate discussion with the manager. That is completely uncalled for and unprofessional. A discussion with the manager would have allowed you to comment on the poor quality of food and service. | |
