Its perfectly legal for the vast majority of Canadians to own guns, the exception being some those convicted various crimes. This attack and the aftermath has nothing to do with gun laws. The capital is crawling with armed security, RCMP,CSIS, and local LEO's and the attack still happened. Blaming this attack on gun laws is like blaming 911 on gun laws. Leave it to a few dumbass yanks to drag guns laws into the discussion about a terrorist attack.
