It was a way for Daddy to use child labor to shoe horn 8 bales of cotton into a 6 bale trailer :-) Was having the time of my life. And late in the season when cool days turned into cold nights and Daddy turned on the lights on the picker and kept running as long as possible that cotton was a warm place to snuggle down into for a short nap until he dumped the next basket.
