West of Broken Bow | Did a lot of motorcross riding. What was really fun was when several of us guys got together and played a game of chase. There was a thick wooded area with trails all through it. We'd each find another kid to ride passenger. Whoever was in the lead would try to lose the pack chasing them. When it was my turn to be chased, I'd get just far enough ahead on a turn and lay the bike down with the passenger under a large cedar tree and kill the motor. The guys chasing me usually would ride on past. Sometimes they'd stop and kill their engines to listen then they'd eventually start moving again and search the trails.
When I wasn't at a gun range plinking targets, I'd usually go fishing at a lake somewhere. Didn't get to hunt as much back then until my late teens. I did my share of chasing girls when time allowed.
