Iowa | I've been through something like that, but don't have a lot good to say about it. If you are the one directly responsible, you don't have the luxury to entertain any delusions about the realities of the situation like your critics do. You have no choice but to do the things that have to be done. One thing you have in your favor these days is more people understand what Alzheimers is and know the difference between assisted living and a nursing home. You are not as alone these days in the sense that more people have been down your path and will be more inclined to be understanding of your situation.
On a side note, Glen Campbell also has Alzheimer's and has released his last recordings. I had not seen the video until tonight:
