| Bob, it is a hard thing to have to decide. But with both sister too far away, they shouldn't be able to dictate what should be done. I too am wondering what does your mom want to do? There is another choice. My daughter and her husband own 3 franchises of Home Instead Senior Care. They employ people that go into your home to help with meals, light cleaning and daily needs of the client. You can have them there as little as a couple hours a week (I think) to 24 hour care. It isn't cheap, but if staying in her home is important to your mom and your sisters, there is a choice. Good luck and keep us posted. | |
