Houston County, GA
The siblings that are least around her never know how much of a risk she is at by living alone. Both of my grandma's were put into assisted living. One had serious stages of Alzheimer's and the other was over the age of 95 and could not care for herself as much with slight dementia. We'd go check on her and the stove was on. For an alzheimer patient nursing homes are a must have. Sitters don't always work because an hour may pass before the next sitter can make arrive. Some of the family was upset with my dad for his decisions but they weren't the ones looking after her. They then realized what he did was right when they saw how severe her alzheimer had gotten. For the best of her health, keep her there.
