How would our civilization have advanced this far it everyone rejected logic and reasoning?
It is well documented that a few thousand years ago, the muslim area of the world brought about so many science and mathematical advances that society was growing in leaps and bounds. Algebra and arabic numerals are just one of the many advances that we still practice today. It's been said that the introduction of islam (I think, may be another religion) was the downfall of the technological capital of the world. Look how it turned out. People killing other people because they don't believe the same as they do. |
