I think you should say something to your kid as well. Don't need to beat them with a stick or anything but let them know your disappointed. They should be grateful that they are caught by you and not the teacher.
It should teach them an important lesson about cheating. If your going to do it, be smart and don't get caught doing it (by teacher or parents).
