I remember tearing into a JD rear axle one time, I'd guess 20 years ago, and all the cast iron parts were stamped "CHINA". It's been that way for a long time, I guess they can do it cheaper than us. It makes me wonder what a new tractor would cost if it was truly "Made in the USA"?
