I'm glad this thread was posted. My dad and I have been kicking this thing around for a while now. It appears to me that a high clear sprayer is our best bet for seeding covers. Sometimes I think if we could just strip till or corn and figure out how to Notill our beans that these practices alone would do a world of good in the cold north. I love the theory of covers especially on stalks for fall grazing. In corn on corn/disc ripper country it gets even harder to figure out. I've often wondered if a half rate of oats could be drizzled every 30" in soybeans by a Hagie so that fall strips could be made between the rows of cover. Glad there are others like me out there. Reading the magazines it all just sounds too simple.
