West Union, IOWA FLOLO Farm 52175
I'm getting more and more convinced..... Earlier is better.

How we're bench marking.....

Soil temp monitoring..... Spring cover was 5* warmer then full til plot nearby....at planting

Soil moisture monitoring..... We went 2 months almost with out rain this summer, InnerSeed cover was more consistant and higher in moisture before rain started...

I wish I'd pulled an N sample this spring on last summers InnerSeed clover.....but got side tracked.
(Will next yr.....+we got a heck of a lot better stand)

seat of the pants test-- while planting in rye or wheat cover this spring.... I was planting in dust, while across the fence was mud....
