Thumb of Michigan | As for being 30 and marrying a 20 year old, that is receipe for disaster. Seen that a few times and the goals and wants of a spouse ten years younger than you will not work out.
As for there is more to life than work. I am sure that many of us have worked a full time job and then started farming from the ground up. Myself holding a full time job, farming and also working for 2 other growers in the spring and fall can be a twist on the family life. You will not know what you have until it is gone. You have to work on all the time and make time for you, the wife and kids. I can be done, been there, done that. | |
