If you need to be singlemindely selfish to get going farming- yeah you should put off getting married.
Time invested in the marriage is not as important as the wife feeling like she/the family is number one. Even when she volunteers to take the back seat for awhile. Guys have a hard time thinking about two things at one time so it ends up being what they are most invested in being number one. Work and money are great things, but it has to be for the sole purpose of benefiting the family.
As far as the wife wanting more money-- its a bad feeling to feel like a pauper when your net worth is in the millions. if you let it, the farm can suck up everything. Again, its a sign that the family is not number one. | |
