no welfare payments on this farm!!!!!!!! | i have some questions for you. not argueing what your doing but,
1. did all your landlords come to you and ask you why didnt you sell 100% of your production for the next ten years or however long out you could when corn prices were at the highest price.
2 Do you think they dont want you to make money.
3 were you optimistic when you first did the contract 3 years ago
4 3 or 5 years ago when you signed the contract ending now, were you guarenteed profit by the land lord?
5 6 or 10 years ago when you signed that contract were you guarenteed profit by the land lord
6 have you ever been guarenteed profit by any contract you have ever signed?
7 is your land lord more optimistic then you?
8 are your competitiors more optimistic then you.
9 finally, when the price is at is lowest are you planning to lock in 100% of your corn sales for the next three years?
Be careful that this talking to them early doesnt back fire on you. what if that 14bil corn crop isnt out there and you have given them a doom and gloom cant pay the rent story and then we change a buck in prices and along comes your competitor? best of luck. |
