Atlantic, Iowa | Do it. Don't look back. We have three guys and we don't farm to speak of. If i had more finishing catyle around, we could get by with less help. But I have 3 kids under 5 and I would like to be around more than my dad was. It amazes me how fast they grow up. Its good to be around for the kids mom too!
As far as keeping them busy, you'll be surprised how much more you can find to do. Another thing that has helped me is spending more time managing my business. That's where my real efficiency comes from. This is such a fluid business that a guy has to be on top of it all the time. | |
