The discussion was on having enough water to cover the surface of the earth to a depth deep enough to drown everything and unfortunately for your hypothesis there is no evidence of the surface of the earth being flat in the last 200,000 years let alone the last 6,000 which is the period of time connected to the story in the bible.
Where is there any evidence of a world wide flood or damage caused by this fictitious flood.
