Central MN | When I was a kid in the 80's we would rarely see turkeys, bear, bald eagles or pheasants in my area. Now its a common occurance to see the turkeys, pheasants and bald eagles almost daily. The bear are around and usually see 4 or 5 a year now. I don't know if its due to good management by the Minnesota DNR that is increasing the numbers in my area or if its the unusually mild winters we've had the last few years thats been helping them out. | |
