+1 on the heating and cooling fast. That's why I asked about how hot you dry it. You might be better off if the cooling was only to 100 degrees and you had plenty of fans in the bin to cool it. If you're drying at high temps, then bringing it back down quickly...the suggestion of checking with an iodine test could give you a definitive answer.
