I just do not understand why builders do not take the same truss for 7.5 o.c. and go back 5 o.c. and forget about hanging the extra lumber, heavier tin , and labor ....  I would rather have more trusses and lighter steel hanging , and all said and done I dought there would be much price diff.  and should have a higher snow load.  what am I missing ?
