North of London | You are correct I said the bible dos not stand up to logic and that is why you can not use it to 'logic' someone into 'believing' (belief being the acceptance of something with no proof)
I think it is quite possible to prove George Washington existed. I assume you mean the one in your history books, lots of evidence that he existed.
No need to prove the parts of the bible false since proving a negative is very difficult if not impossible.
What you have to do is prove what is in the bible is true, that is the claim so the burden of proof is on those making the claim.
Until there is proof that stuff in the bible is true it remains a story only, not proven.
I will continue to put my trust in scientists who have published papers and had them peer reviewed to confirm their findings. | |
