| Hey guys,
I was just having a browse through the forum and figured I'd try to get some more perspective on a situation while I was here.
I have a teenage kid. Good kid at that. He gets on well with everyone, has always gotten good grades, plays sports, volunteers in town, has good friends. Really, I've had no major issues with this kid. Anyway, I accidentally found out last week that he got outside help on an assignment for English class. I managed to find out it was an essay service (I'm pretty sure it was this one if you wanted to know what I am talking about: http://one-hour-essay.essayshark.com/quick-essay-help.html ). I don't know if it was once, or if he's used it more frequently.
Are services like this a thing now for high school kids? I haven't asked him about it yet because 1) I just found out and 2) I want to make sure I know what the heck I'm talking and prepare myself for whatever argument he has. I suppose I am a bit thrown off and don't quite know how to approach it.
Anyone else out there had something similar happen? Any advice would be great. | |
