Blue Earth, MN
This is mostly for producers located north of I80.

What are your goals planting cover crops in standing corn and soybean fields during the months of June/July/August? I'm just wondering what expectations are and how you are benchmarking the results.

I understand the purpose of cover crops but just don't see how the little growth of the CC does much before being killed off with a frost.
