Mid Michigan | Shop Smith 12 inch diameter disc with emery cloth.
With disc off put blade on table with slant behind edge against eme ry. Mark table so grind to correct angle.
Stone nicks main problem. Lay blade flat on table and grind till nicks gone. Balance blade.
Put blade on mark and grind till 1/64 flat left. Dip in water when water evaporates back ~ 3/4 inch.
Balance.
Got the Shop Smith Mark 5 in 1980. Still works great.
