| If you don't club a ton of stones a angle grinder and a flap wheel works the best............Doesn't heat the blade much and they hold a great edge that lasts. I had customers who must have used the mower to moonlight as a breaker in a rock quarry.................Usually used a grinding wheel on those and then came back with a flap wheel to dress it up. I got a thumb switch grinder, hold the blade on the bench and run free hand when I do it. Dealer I worked at had a machine, don't recall the brand. I thought it was a POS. It kicked the burr to the edge and then left it, most guys there weren't smart enough to dress it up with a flap wheel before the customer got them, and they weren't all that sharp with that burr. It also took a bunch of time, and some blades with drops in them it didn't sharpen those areas either which had an edge when they were new...............so I usually went to my Metabo grinder anyhow. | |
