New Brunswick, Canada | We stick a grinder with no guard in under the deck and get something close to an edge. Repeat every time rocks mess them up so about every 10 hours mowing.
Once the ends really round over from rock strikes/sharpening you won’t get good cut quality regardless of how sharp. You can cheat and grind a step into the blade so the cutting edge is square to the rotation again though.
This might seem careless but with enough rocks you have to compromise. Oh yes this is with deck at max height.
