I've given this a bit of thought over the years. Probably would answer the question differently at 24 as opposed to 64.

My answer is no, no way in hell.

At this stage of my life I don't want to learn how to live with somebody new. Particularly, just what kind of mate would want to live with me? Some old heifer that's someone else's retread, probably with her own set of kids? Nah, I'm not into contending with someone else's larvae.

And no, no way I'm going to shack up with some old hussy either. It's as wrong and sinful at 64 as it is at 24, contrary to what a large portion of our culture might think.

You're 100% right, shacking up is wrong. As is divorce and remarriage.

We all need to abide by the Scriptures.
