Personally not a believer in having old crop unpriced beyond mid January except basis so new crop. Selling carry is how bins pay not speculating the market.
Bins paid huge this year in unpriced grain and basis improvement. Really not much carry for storing grain much like last year. I realize this is an exception but even last year selling in February was very good. I guess we all look at things differently and have different comfort levels with early sales. |
Is it time ?
