western mn | Mossberg are good guns, the 24" inch barrel that came on the 88 is a great choice for a security shotgun, and if for pidgeons sometimes a short barrel helps get a wide pattern out if your surprising them coming right out of the building, but it looks like the cost of a 28" barrel is about what you paid for the gun, so I would just go to a larger gun store and see what they have for a good used 12 gauge with a longer barrel, but than again, I just like having multiple choices for different shooting opportunities. .. good hunting... | |
