Subject: RE: 6nz owners

North Liberty and South Bend, Indiana
I think I can borrow a fuel sight gauge to see if I have air getting in fuel. I discovered the passenger tank will receive more return fuel, nearly ran it over. First thought was the return fuel proportion valve was bad but it may be the suction line on drivers tank is bad and sucking air. This truck has shutoff valves on the return lines at the tank, would have thought they should be on the suction side. So I partially closed the passenger valve and tanks stay fairly balanced. Tonight I did notice the engine misfire or at least pop and rumble. Was backing down a hill in the road at about 1600 rpm. Ran smooth under 1600. I've also noticed this truck really falls on its face if you try to pull hard and rev it over 1600. Initially thought it was ECM governing it but not so sure now.

EDIT: If passenger tank is over filling it may be suction line on that tank is sucking air, not drivers side.
